History
In the 1950s, the shipyard began producing wooden yachts under the brand "Arcobaleno Super," which was later renamed "President."

The modern Admiral brand was established in 1966 with the launch of an 18-meter wooden yacht bearing the same name.

In November 2011, Admiral was acquired by The Italian Sea Group. This acquisition brought the Tecnomar brand into the conglomerate, which garnered international acclaim and headlines through its collaboration with Lamborghini.

On June 8, 2021, The Italian Sea Group went public on the Milan Stock Exchange, and by 2023, the company reached a total capitalization of $379 million.

The group has since also acquired the rights to Picchiotti and the iconic sailing yacht builder Perini Navi.

Today, The Italian Sea Group comprises six distinct brands: Admiral, Picchiotti, Perini Navi, Tecnomar, NCA Refit, and CELI. Each of these shipyards is unique, with its own specialization and expertise.
Facilities
Admiral Yachts operates on a sprawling 120,000 square meters facility, featuring 18 production areas, two dry docks, a 2,000-meter-long quay, and a floating dock with a 3,300-ton capacity for yachts, superyachts, and megayachts up to 100 meters in length.

Additionally, Admiral Yachts is expanding its production facilities to accommodate the construction of yachts exceeding 100 meters in length.
Range
Admiral specializes in crafting full-custom semi-displacement and displacement superyachts, each unique in both exterior design and interior execution, incorporating bespoke technological solutions.

Beyond its exclusive showroom, where clients can virtually visualize their future yacht’s interiors and select materials, Admiral collaborates with some of the world’s most renowned designers, including Piredda & Partners, Gian Marco Campanino, Tim Heywood, and Azure Yacht Design, to bring every client's vision to life.

Among Admiral's noteworthy projects are the 65-meter steel yacht M/Y LIFE SAGA (2019), capable of completing two transatlantic crossings without refueling, and the 55-meter aluminum yacht GECO (2020), equipped with its own helipad. Both yachts have been honored with International Yacht & Aviation Awards.

A standout in Admiral's fleet is the ultra-modern 75-meter M/Y KENSHŌ, launched in 2022, which proudly earned the title of "Motor Yacht of the Year" in the category of "Motor Yachts with a Gross Tonnage of 1,500 GT."
