History
Alloy Yachts was founded by New Zealand shipbuilders who first came together in the early 1980s to create the 28-meter aluminum yacht M/Y CHANEL. The brand Alloy Yachts was officially established in 1985 under the leadership of Tony Hambrook. Two years later, the company entered a tender to build a yacht for the America’s Cup regatta.

The yachts produced by Alloy Yachts gained significant recognition and accolades at various exhibitions. Notably, M/Y ATLANTA won the "ShowBoats International 1996" award for "Best Interior Design in Noble Woods." The 39.7-meter M/Y JANICE OF WYOMING was named Best Sailing Yacht of 2005 by "ShowBoats International," and M/Y VvS1 was honored as the Best Displacement Motor Yacht under 500 GT in 2007.

In 2016, Alloy Yachts announced the cessation of its production.
