History
The history of Baia Yachts dates back to 1961 when the Mericraft shipyard was established in Naples, focusing on wooden pleasure boats. Just seven years later, the shipyard relocated to the nearby city of Baia.
In 1971, under new ownership, the company rebranded as Cantieri di Baia Spa – Mericraft, which was later shortened to Baia Yachts.
With the growing demand for large superyachts, Baia Yachts developed a new series of superyachts in 1986. The first model of this series, the B80 superyacht, was launched in 1992 and received a positive reception in the yachting market.
Today, 55% of Baia Yachts' production is for the domestic market, while 45% is exported.
Notable yachts from Baia Yachts include the B50, developed in collaboration with renowned racer Don Aronow.

Facilities
Baia Yachts' primary production facility, spanning 26,500 square meters, is located in Viareggio. In addition to its construction facilities, the site features an in-house laboratory dedicated to researching new materials for hulls and innovative technologies.
Baia Yachts has been a pioneer in incorporating advanced features into its designs, such as the Hull Vane stern-mounted hydrofoil, D2P hull technology, and hybrid diesel-electric propulsion systems.

Range
Baia Yachts currently offers two main lines of sport cruisers with either open or semi-enclosed salons:
- Atlantica: Series of sport yachts measuring 26 meters, capable of reaching a top speed of 52 knots.
- Magnifica: Sport superyachts measuring 34 meters, with a maximum speed of 50 knots.
