Bering
about the shipyard
Bering Yachts is a relatively young but rapidly growing Turkish shipyard, specializing in the creation of ocean-going expedition yachts. They build steel-hulled yachts ranging from 20 to 45 meters, aluminum catamarans starting at 19 meters, and high-speed tenders made from aluminum and fiberglass, ranging from 7 to 12 meters in length.

Based in Antalya, Turkey, Bering Yachts also has its headquarters in the USA, with additional offices in Germany and Australia.

Adhering to a semi-custom production philosophy, Bering Yachts has quickly gained popularity among buyers seeking reliable vessels for exploring the most remote corners of the globe.

History
Bering Yachts was founded in 2007 in Foshan, China, by Russian entrepreneurs Alexander Obidin and Alexey Mikhailov, both of whom had their own shipbuilding projects in the 1990s.

Their first model was the 17-meter Bering 55, a metal-hulled yacht inspired by a Norwegian trawler. This yacht was designed to provide a comfortable journey even 200 miles from the shore.

Following the successful delivery of six such yachts, Bering relocated to Turkey in 2017. This move, along with the opening of a new facility in Bulgaria, significantly expanded the shipyard's production capabilities, increasing both the number and size range of yachts under construction. This growth was marked by the launch of new expedition yacht models, including the B92 in 2018 and the B145 in 2020.

Today, Bering Yachts has successfully completed 13 yacht and superyacht projects, with an additional 16 currently under construction.
Facilities
Bering Yachts operates two shipyards, one in Antalya, Turkey, and the other in Burgas, Bulgaria. Together, these facilities employ over 250 highly skilled professionals.
Range
Bering Yachts offers a range of steel-displacement expedition superyachts under the Explorer series, designed to operate even in the harshest conditions of the Bering Sea, with lengths of up to 45 meters. They also produce a series of catamarans starting from 19 meters.

All Bering Yachts are built to the standards of Lloyd's Register, American Bureau of Shipping, and the American Council of Boats and Yachts, and are equipped with state-of-the-art navigation and communication systems.
