History
Carver was founded in the mid-1950s in Milwaukee (Wisconsin, USA) by two entrepreneurs Charles Carter and George Verhagen as a manufacturer of wooden boats. But after 20 years the shipyard changed its specialization to the manufacture of fiberglass motor yachts, gradually increasing the size range in a larger direction.

The growing popularity and order book attracts the interest of investors, and by 1980 the yard is bought out by Marquis-Larson to expand the model range and sales region. At the same time, the first Aft Cabin series yacht was launched and became the flagship of the Carver brand for a long time.

The success of the new yacht prompted the developers to launch two new series of cruising yachts in the 1990s, Voyagerlong and Montego. And in 2000, the yard's largest yacht to date, the 57' Voyager Pilothouse, was launched.

Even before it closed, Carver continued to develop new projects. Between 2019 and 2021 alone, 7 new models were launched: 4 Coupe Series cruising motor yachts - C34, C37, C43, C52 and 3 Command Bridge Series three-deck flybridge models - C36, C40 and C52.
