History
Founded in 1984 in Viareggio on the Ligurian coast, CBI Navi quickly grew from a small shipyard into a major shipbuilding group. In 2005, it joined the prestigious Fipa Group, which also included renowned brands like AB Yachts, Intermare, and Maiora. This merger expanded CBI Navi's capabilities in producing custom megayachts and introduced new hull materials to their construction process.
In the fall of 2021, the Austrian investment firm NEXT Yacht Group acquired a controlling stake in Fipa Group, including CBI Navi's assets.
