Cerri Cantieri Navali (CCN) was founded in 1997 by Italian entrepreneur Carlo Cerri. His direct involvement led to the creation of the sporty cruiser Cerri 28, which quickly became a hit on the yacht market. Its success inspired the development of a full line of luxury high-performance yachts "in the Cerri style," characterized by sleek, aggressive hull designs.

As demand for larger yachts grew, CCN modernized its production facilities and ventured into building superyachts. The first of these was the Cerri 102’ FlyingSport, a 31-meter flybridge superyacht made from composites.

Following the global economic crisis in 2011, 70% of the shipyard’s shares were acquired by the prominent Italian industrial corporation Gavio Group, which also owns brands such as Baglietto and Bertram. This acquisition facilitated a rebranding and an expansion of CCN’s model range, including the introduction of the Fuoriserie series of custom superyachts. The flagship of the CCN fleet is the 50-meter superyacht M/Y ELSEA, which won the "Revelation of the Year" award at the World Superyacht Trophies.

Cerri Cantieri Navali offers the following yacht series:

• Flying Sport: A range of semi-custom composite motor yachts, available in sizes from 27 to 31 meters.
• Firma: Mid-sized motor yachts designed in collaboration with Studio Vafiadis, crafted from steel and aluminum, ranging from 27 to 37 meters.
• Fuoriserie: Custom-built superyachts, tailored to individual specifications, with sizes ranging from 28 to 50 meters.
