History
The history of Conrad Shipyard began in 2002 when the private shipbuilding company Marine Projects Ltd. received an order to build a 27-meter motor yacht designed by renowned naval architect Bill Dixon. The success of this yacht and the subsequent growth in orders led the shipbuilder to establish Conrad Shipyard in 2003, a dedicated facility for constructing superyachts and megayachts. The company was named in honor of the Polish-British writer Joseph Conrad.
The shipyard's early projects included the 27-meter M/Y ESCAPE S with a steel hull, the 12-meter special-purpose M/Y CAPO SERIES, and the tug-type motor yacht M/Y JACK LONDON CC50, which was launched in 2005.
Since its inception, Conrad Shipyard has built over 20 yachts, with the largest being the 40-meter three-deck superyacht Conrad C133, which was delivered to its owner in the spring of 2018.
