History
Delta Marine began in Seattle in 1968 when brothers Jack and Ivor Johnson started a business building fishing boats. It wasn’t until 12 years later that the company transitioned into the production of luxury yachts.
Delta Marine operates its own design office, Delta Design Group, which boasts a large team of designers and engineers. This team has been responsible for notable projects such as the 73-meter megayacht M/Y LAUREL, the 65-meter M/Y INVICTUS, the 63-meter M/Y SATORI, the 47-meter M/Y ROCHADE, and the 40-meter superyacht M/Y ONIKA.
The shipyard also collaborates with renowned designers on its projects. For instance, Delta Marine worked with Jonathan Quinn Barnett Ltd on the 53-meter M/Y MLR, the 46-meter M/Y PISCES, and the 38-meter M/Y RUFFIAN. For the 72-meter megayacht M/Y Albatross, Delta Marine partnered with Norwegian designer Espen Øino International.
