Founded in 1999, Dominator Yachts began as a manufacturer of luxury leisure yachts, launching its first flybridge model, the Dominator 65, in 2001. Seven years later, the shipyard entered the superyacht segment with the construction of its first 29-meter vessel.

In 2009, the Pernsteiner family acquired the company, having been impressed by the design and quality of a Dominator yacht they had previously purchased. New investments under their ownership expanded the Dominator model range and increased the shipyard's production capacity to 12 hulls per year.

Since its inception, Dominator Yachts has launched over 140 yachts of various sizes.

The headquarters of Dominator Yachts is located in Vaduz, Liechtenstein, while the production facility is based in Fano, Italy.

The Italian shipyard Dominator offers the ILUMEN series of flybridge yachts, featuring five models ranging from 27 to 40 meters in length, all of which can be partially customized. The models include the Dominator 24M, 28M, 32M, 36M, and the 38M Tri Deck. Renowned designers Alberto Mancini and Luca Catino were involved in the development of this series.

In addition to the ILUMEN series, Dominator also builds fully custom motor yachts, tailoring layouts and interiors to meet each client's specific needs.
