Ferretti

The history of the Italian Ferretti Group began in 1968 when brothers Alessandro and Norberto Ferretti founded a company in Forlì to manufacture small composite yachts. Their original designs, personalized approach, and a series of innovations quickly made the company popular, eventually propelling it to the forefront of the yachting industry.

In 1990, Ferretti began merging with other yacht brands, including Riva, Pershing, Itama, WALLY, and CRN, to expand its product range and fill gaps in the most in-demand yacht sizes among customers.

In 2012, Shandong Heavy Industry Group-Weichai Group acquired a controlling stake in Ferretti Group, enhancing the brand's presence in the Asian market. The company went public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2022 and followed with a listing on the Milan Stock Exchange the next year.

Over the years, Ferretti has been repeatedly recognized at yacht shows and has received numerous awards from prestigious publications. However, 2023 was a particularly stellar year for the shipyard. At the World Yachts Trophies alone, Ferretti models garnered five awards.

Ferretti operates two production facilities: The headquarters and main shipyard are located in Forlì, Italy, covering a total area of 51,000 square meters, with 23,000 square meters of covered hangars. This facility employs up to 2,800 highly skilled professionals, including over 100 designers. The second shipyard is in Cattolica, spanning 12,000 square meters, with 6,700 square meters of covered workshops.

These production capabilities allow Ferretti to build yachts up to 30 meters in length.

Ferretti Yachts offers two main product lines:

• Flybridge: A range of classic motor yachts with flybridges, measuring up to 30 meters.
• Infynito: Featuring the 27-meter superyacht InFYnito 90, distinguished by its unique all-season terrace located at the bow.

The brand continues to impress its clients with new innovations and record-breaking models. The flagship of the brand, the Ferretti 1000 M/Y EPIC (launched in 2021), is the largest planing yacht ever produced by the shipyard, measuring 30 meters.

In the semi-displacement yacht segment, Ferretti Yachts also offers the Custom Line series, with models ranging from 30 to 42 meters, constructed from composite materials.
