History
The French shipyard Jeanneau began its journey in 1957 when Henri Jeanneau, an enthusiastic racing boat fan, built a wooden motorboat and secured a prize in the 6-hour Paris race. The strong interest in purchasing this boat led to the establishment of his own production facility, and the growing demand for boats of various sizes prompted the expansion of their model range. By 1958, Jeanneau launched its first fiberglass yacht, and in 1964, the company ventured into sailing yachts. The introduction of the first sailing catamaran, Lagoon, followed in 1985.

In 1995, Jeanneau became part of the Beneteau Group, joining prestigious brands such as CNB, Lagoon, Four Winns, Glastron, Wellcraft, Scarab, Monte Carlo Yachts, Prestige, Excess, Seascape, and Delphia Yachts. As a member of this large conglomerate, Jeanneau continued its active development, producing yachts under multiple brand names and expanding its production facilities. During the mid-90s, some of the company’s projects were built at the Polish shipyard Ostroda Yachts, which became part of Jeanneau in 2001. In 2017, Jeanneau began producing the NC 895 motor cruisers in Cadillac, Michigan, USA.

Throughout its history, Jeanneau has launched over 250,000 yachts and boats of various sizes, making a significant contribution to the global charter fleet.
