The shipbuilding company Factoria Naval Marin (FNM) was founded in 2006 in Galicia, Spain, by entrepreneurs Pablo Comesaña and President José María Suescun, with the participation of the Galician bank CXG Corporación, which owns 10% of the shares.
The first yacht launched under the Marin LuxurYachts brand was in 2009 and is an authentic replica of an early 20th-century schooner designed by the legendary Nathanael Herreshoff.
