History
Founded in 1915 under the name Campanella, Mondomarine initially focused on the maintenance and refit of commercial vessels. However, in the 1970s, the company rebranded as Mondomarine and shifted its focus to building superyachts. In November 2018, Mondomarine was acquired by the Palumbo Superyachts group, which also includes the well-known brands ISA Yachts, Columbus Yachts, Extra Yachts, and Palumbo SY Refit, to expand its production capabilities.
Notable superyachts in Mondomarine’s renowned fleet include the 49-meter fully aluminum yacht M/Y IPANEMA, the 50-meter explorer yacht M/Y TRIBÙ, launched in 2007, the 60-meter megayacht Sarastar, which was featured in the Netflix film "Murder Mystery," and the 42-meter superyacht M/Y SERENITY, which, thanks to its distinctive design and layout, was a finalist at the 2016 ShowBoats Design Awards and the World Superyacht Awards.

Facilities
Mondomarine operates out of the Cantieri Navali Campanella shipyard in the port of Savona, a facility with a century-long history and direct sea access. The site spans 30,000 square meters and includes its own engineering and design department, a metalworking shop, warehouses, and carpentry workshops. This setup enables the shipyard to carry out full-cycle production of superyachts and megayachts, adhering to the highest standards set by American Bureau of Shipping, Lloyd's Register, and the Italian Classification Society RINA.

In addition to these lines, Mondomarine presents two distinctive superyacht concepts that have garnered special attention: the 56-meter superyacht M/Y EIDOS, designed by Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design, and the 60-meter megayacht M/Y SEA FALCON, which features automatically extending beach clubs and balconies.
- The Discovery line, featuring yachts with steel hulls and aluminum superstructures up to 57 meters in length
