History
Oceanco was founded in 1987 by investors from South Africa, who split production between two countries: the hull and superstructure were built in Durban, South Africa, while final outfitting took place in the Netherlands.
With the arrival of new owner, Greek businessman Theodore Angelopoulos, in 2002, the shipyard transitioned to building luxury megayachts over 80 meters and moved all production to the Netherlands. In 2019, Oceanco expanded its manufacturing capabilities by acquiring assets from the company Heerema.

Facilities
Oceanco operates two main production facilities: one in Alblasserdam with direct access to the North Sea, where yachts up to 150 meters are built, and another in Zwijndrecht, which serves as a refit and maintenance base and a center for implementing new technologies. The company employs over 400 highly skilled professionals in its production operations.
Range
The flagship of Oceanco's fleet is the 127-meter sailing yacht M/Y KORU (Project Y721), launched in 2023. Prior to it, the fleet was led by the 117-meter motor megayacht M/Y INFINITY (Project Y719), launched in 2021.
