History
The shipyard Posillipo was founded in 1942 under the name Posillipo of Gallotti as a company focused on building and repairing wooden boats. In 1950, entrepreneurs Giovanni di Campello and Dottor Casa purchased the company, shifting its strategy and launching a series of high-speed boats. The first model, the Positano runabout, was launched in 1952.

In 1969, Posillipo introduced its first boat with a fiberglass hull, the Aruba 25, but fully transitioned to fiberglass construction by 1979. Due to financial difficulties, the company closed in 2012 and remained inactive for four years before relaunching in 2016. Despite the restart, the production of yachts under the Posillipo brand was eventually suspended.
Range
The Posillipo shipyard offered two models of fiberglass motor yachts:

  • The Technema 90, an updated version of the 27-meter model from 2009
  • The Technema 78, a 24-meter flybridge yacht.

The flagship of the Posillipo brand is the 37-meter motor yacht M/Y PEFTASTERI, launched in 2009.
