History
Rossinavi’s origins date back to the 1970s, when it operated under the name Cantiere Rossi, serving as a contractor for building metal hulls for other shipyards.

By the 1980s, the company shifted focus to constructing passenger vessels. In the late 1990s, the firm decided to move towards independently building large yachts for the private sector, with its first project launched in 1999.

In 2007, after delivering several vessels, the shipyard underwent a rebranding and entered the market under the new name Rossinavi.
Facilities
Rossinavi operates four production facilities totaling 15,000 square meters. Three of these are waterfront facilities—two in Viareggio and one in Pisa—while the fourth is a mechanical workshop in Viareggio, specializing in metalworking and electro-hydraulic systems. This setup allows the shipyard to independently develop and manufacture each component of custom yachts.

The combined facilities enable the simultaneous construction of up to four custom yachts, each weighing up to 90 tons.

In addition to yacht construction, the shipyard also produces hulls for other companies.

Rossinavi collaborates with leading Italian design studios and designers on new yacht projects, including Enrico Gobbi, Studio Vafiadis, Luca Dini Design, Arrabito Naval Architects, and others.
Range
Rossinavi’s fleet includes high-speed yachts and projects up to 70 meters in steel and aluminum, capable of crossing the Atlantic Ocean. The use of modern technology enables the shipyard to create models that combine long-range autonomy with impressive speed.

The company is open to taking on projects of any complexity. In 2013, Rossinavi launched the 39-meter yacht Taransay, a modernized replica of a yacht of the same name from 1930.

Rossinavi continually updates its lineup, regularly introducing new models. In 2023, the shipyard launched three yachts: M/Y AKULA (59.4 meters), M/Y No STREES TWO (49.9 meters), and M/Y ALCHEMY (65.7 meters), which was showcased at the Monaco Yacht Show 2023. Currently, three new yachts are in the design phase: M/Y INFINITY 42 BLUE, M/Y PININFARINA, and M/Y BLUE.

In line with global trends for open spaces, Rossinavi also announced new catamaran projects, Sea Cat and Oneiric, in 2023.
Innovation and specialization
Rossinavi places a strong emphasis on incorporating green technologies into its yacht production. Notably, their research has led to the development of a hybrid propulsion system that is powered by both diesel generators and solar panels.

Additionally, Rossinavi is actively developing the Rossinavi AI onboard system, designed to enhance the vessel's environmental performance while simultaneously improving travel comfort. This system analyzes and optimizes the operation of all systems and the crew.
