History
The history of Silver Yachts began in 2005 when entrepreneur Guido Krass founded the company under the name Hanseatic Marine, which was later rebranded as Silver Yachts. Just two years later, the company made a name for itself in the premium megayacht market with the launch of the 73-meter M/Y SILVER (now known as M/Y RABDAN), which was the largest yacht at the time to be fully constructed from aluminum.
In 2017, a majority stake in the company was acquired by the Chinese corporation China Zhongwang.

Facilities
The main production facility of Silver Yachts is located in Fremantle, Western Australia. The shipyard spans 6,000 square meters and includes two large hangars, a finishing shop, workshops, and a design office, employing over 150 highly skilled professionals. The facility is also equipped with a lift capable of handling yachts up to 140 meters in length and weighing up to 8,000 tons.
Range
Silver Yachts offers aluminum megayachts and catamarans ranging from 36 to 87 meters across three series:
- Spacecats: Motor catamarans with expansive relaxation areas, ranging from 22 to 39 meters. This series includes models such as the SILVERCAT 22M, SILVERCAT 24M, SILVER ADVENTURE 29.5M, SILVER ADVENTURE 39M, and the shipyard's first catamaran, the SPACECAT 36M, which was launched in 2022.
- Motor Yachts: This series features motor superyachts and megayachts, including M/Y SILVER FAST, M/Y GLOBALFAST, and M/Y SILVER EDGE, ranging from 73 to 86 meters.
- Explorer Yachts: Represented by the 85-meter expedition megayacht M/Y BOLD, designed for long-range exploration and adventure.
