Entrepreneur Francis Lapp founded Sunreef Yachts in Gdańsk, a city with a rich tradition in naval construction and home to some of the most skilled shipbuilding professionals in Poland.
In 2003, Sunreef Yachts launched the world's first 74-foot A-Class catamaran with a flybridge, marking the beginning of a new era in multihull design philosophy. This innovative approach helped redefine the design and functionality of catamarans.

Sunreef Yachts builds its yachts at a production facility in Gdańsk, located on the banks of the Vistula River, providing access to key waterways and the Baltic Sea.

In 2008, the company launched the world’s first two-deck catamaran with transoceanic range, the 70 Sunreef Power Jambo, capable of traveling 8,000 nautical miles. In 2010, they unveiled one of the largest sailing cruising catamarans, the two-deck SUNREEF 102 IPHARRA.
