Zeelander
about the shipyard
The shipyard was founded in 2002 by Sytse Kuypmans, who aimed to create a leisure yacht that provided a high level of comfort, low noise, and vibration. In 2008, the first model, the Z44, was released, laying the foundation for the company's further growth. History
Zeelander was founded in 2002. The first successful project was the Z44 model, introduced in 2008. Despite the challenging economic conditions in the shipbuilding industry at the time, the company managed to establish itself in the market. In 2011, a factory was opened in the USA, and in 2014, the Z68 model was showcased at the Miami Boat Show, opening up a new market for the brand.
Facilities
Zeelander's production is concentrated at a single facility in the Netherlands, located in Groot Ammers, where modern technologies and equipment are used. The company employs highly skilled personnel, and new models are developed in collaboration with designer Cor D. Rover. The entire production process includes strict quality control at every stage of construction.
Range
Currently, Zeelander's lineup includes four main yacht models: the Zeelander 5 (48.3 feet), Zeelander 6 (55.9 feet), Zeelander 7 (66.7 feet), and Zeelander 8 (79 feet). All models are characterized by high comfort levels, speeds of up to 40 knots, and low noise levels onboard (<72 dB).
