The exterior of the Bering 65 is classic with a raised wheelhouse. This small expedition yacht with steel hull and aluminum superstructure combines comfort and reliability at a reasonable price. Powered by twin diesel engines as standard, the Bering 65 has a top speed of 10 knots and a cruising speed of 8 knots.
The Bering 65 luxury yacht offers an impressive range of over 4,000 nautical miles at cruising speed. The 16,800 liters of fuel on board allows the owner to enjoy thousands of miles of continuous cruising, with a fuel consumption of 30 liters per hour.
The cabin has built-in seating on both sides and a large dinette to starboard. The entertainment center in front of the sofas has a large flat screen TV surrounded by your choice of handcrafted wood. Large double aft doors can be opened when maximum ventilation is required or when hosting large groups. Stairs forward lead to the lower staterooms.
The galley is just behind the wheelhouse but on the same level. Refrigeration units and in-wall ovens are located to port, along with drawers and a wine cabinet. On the starboard side you have the cooktop, trash compactor, sink, dishwasher and dry storage. This galley is bright and spacious, thanks in part to the open bulkhead and location above the salon.
Forward of the galley is the wheelhouse, where most of the ship's controls and displays are assembled. From here you can monitor all critical systems such as tank level, engine and battery readings. This lower control station is ideal for steering in inclement weather conditions. Swinging doors lead to both port and starboard. Extensive window placement on three sides provides a full view of your surroundings forward and to the sides. The L-shaped settee behind the control seat is ideal for communicating with the captain while on the move and offers an alternative place to relax and read if you want a bit of separation from the salon.
In standard configuration, the Bering 65 has three cabins, each with its own private bathroom.
The covered cockpit provides additional outdoor living space no matter the weather conditions, whether it's a blazing tropical sun or a rainy day at anchor. The cockpit sofa and table are perfect for al fresco dining, visiting or just relaxing comfortably. Covered side decks and high bulwarks provide very safe passage to the Portuguese bridge and foredeck. Large lockers inside the Portuguese bridge are ideal for storing docks, hoses and equipment. Molded seating on the foredeck brings you forward with unrivaled views!
The Bering 65's covered flybridge control station and seating area provide an exceptional view whether on the move or at anchor. With large sofas and the ability to combine refrigeration, outdoor grill, stainless steel sink and more, you can entertain guests with ease. The aft deck can easily accommodate a 4.2 meter long tender that can be easily launched and raised with a hydraulic crane. The dinghy deck stairs connect the covered cockpit, which means you don't have to navigate the interior when you want to go up to the upper deck after swimming or diving.
