CALYPSO

CALYPSO is a 61.5-metre custom-built motor yacht from Amels, maintained in excellent condition by two discerning owners. Launched in 2003, she underwent a full interior renovation in 2017 and a major refit in 2023, including a 20-year survey and complete repainting. Today, she stands fully equipped and ready for new adventures.

One of CALYPSO’s defining features is her remarkable volume of 1,149 GT—exceptional for a yacht of this length—providing generous living spaces rarely found in this size range. The interior, inspired by Greek mythology, is finished in natural materials and a soft, earthy palette. The centrepiece is a spectacular two-level owner’s suite, spanning the full beam with a ceiling height of 4.2 metres and a skylight that floods the space with natural light.

Seven guest cabins are on board, including a convertible twin on the main deck that can serve as a spa or wellness room—making CALYPSO equally well suited for private or charter use. Crew areas are thoughtfully separated to preserve guest privacy while ensuring seamless service. Storage for tenders and water toys is optimised for quick deployment and ease of use.

The exterior decks offer a variety of settings for every occasion. The sundeck includes three distinct areas: a forward Jacuzzi with sunpads, a climate-controlled gym at the centre, and a versatile aft deck ideal for yoga, relaxing, or outdoor cinema. An alfresco dining area on the upper deck is shaded for comfort in warmer climates.

Powered by twin Caterpillar 3516B diesel engines, CALYPSO reaches a top speed of 18 knots and cruises efficiently at 14.5 knots. With a large fuel capacity and proven transoceanic range, she has successfully voyaged from the Indian Ocean to Iceland.
