EMERALD is a 50.4-meter motor yacht originally delivered by Feadship in 1990 and extensively rebuilt between 2021 and 2023. The comprehensive refit was carried out at Balk Shipyard in collaboration with Design Unlimited, transforming her into a fully modern superyacht in line with today’s charter and private use standards.
As part of the rebuild, her length was extended, and the layout was reconfigured to enhance both guest comfort and operational efficiency. She now features a full-beam master suite and adjoining VIP cabin on the main deck - ideal for families or close guests - plus four additional guest cabins on the lower deck. The main saloon was opened up with a custom partition separating the lounge and formal dining areas, while the galley was completely rebuilt and fitted with professional-grade equipment.
Upgrades also include a larger upper deck lounge, an expanded aft deck area, and a new crane system for launching and retrieving tenders and toys. The sun deck has been transformed into a vibrant open-air retreat, with a jacuzzi, bar, sun loungers, and custom-built furniture.
Crew areas were reconfigured to meet modern service standards, including a new engineer’s cabin, improved laundry and storage facilities, and upgraded crew accommodations. All service and operational areas now comply with contemporary charter requirements.
The yacht also benefits from a full suite of technical upgrades: new AV/IT systems, advanced navigation electronics, and Quantum Zero-Speed stabilizers for enhanced comfort both underway and at anchor. Her engines and generators, replaced in 2015, have been fully overhauled. Aesthetic enhancements include a refreshed superstructure and mast, a new hull paint in Orion Green, and Aquila White for the superstructure.
Lloyd’s-classed and a finalist in the 2024 World Superyacht Awards, EMERALD is now fully operational and ready for global cruising or charter.
