Description

LEGATO is a 42-meter motor sailor, launched in 2024 by Mengi Yay. The hull was designed by Ginton Naval Architects, with interiors by Wetzels Brown Studio. Built to RINA Commercial C+ standards and compliant with the REG Code, the yacht is designed for safe and efficient long-range cruising.

Accommodation: Up to 10 guests in five cabins and 6 crew members. The layout balances open communal spaces with private areas. The main deck features a salon and dining area, while the foredeck and aft deck are equipped for lounging and sunbathing.

Powered by two Yanmar engines of 911 hp each, LEGATO achieves a cruising speed of 10 knots and a maximum speed of 15 knots. Fuel capacity is 20,750 liters, freshwater 4,660 liters, and blackwater tanks 3,080 liters. The steel hull and aluminium superstructure provide strength and efficiency, with a beam of 9 meters.

LEGATO combines the functionality of a motor yacht with the elegance of a sailing vessel, offering spacious interiors and outdoor areas, comfort, and safety for both guests and crew. Its design makes it ideal for private ownership as well as commercial charter operations.
