PELORUS

PELORUS is a 115-metre motor superyacht built by the German shipyard Lürssen and delivered in 2003. Constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the yacht is built to DNV-GL classification and boasts an impressive gross tonnage of 5,403 GT. Her striking exterior was designed by Tim Heywood, with interiors by Terence Disdale.

PELORUS has undergone three major refits: the first at Blohm+Voss in 2008, the second at Kusch Yachts in 2017, and a comprehensive current refit scheduled for completion in April 2025.

Accommodations are arranged across 12 guest staterooms for up to 24 guests, supported by a professional crew of 46, housed in 23 crew cabins, including dedicated quarters for engineers and service staff. The owner’s deck features a 200° panoramic master suite, en suite bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, private lounge, office, and a separate cabin for the personal butler. VIP and guest suites are located across the upper, main, and lower decks.

Standout features include: Sun deck with a counter-current swimming pool, jacuzzi, bar, dining, and lounge areas, two helipads: one forward and one on the owner’s deck with private access, five balconies, including both fold-out and fixed platforms, accessible from the main salon, dining area, and a guest stateroom on the lower deck, elevator connecting all guest decks.

Entertainment and wellness facilities include: upper deck lounge with alfresco dining, a panoramic indoor salon with bar, AV system, and dance floor, multi-level cinema located forward and wellness centre on the lower deck featuring a gym, massage room, hair salon, hammam, hydrotherapy area, and indoor pool.

Powered by two Wärtsilä diesel engines with a combined output of 10,600 hp, PELORUS offers a top speed of 20 knots, cruises comfortably at 18 knots, and has a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles at 16 knots. The Quantum Zero Speed stabilisation system ensures onboard comfort both underway and at anchor.

At the stern of the main deck, the yacht carries two Vikal tenders: an 11.2-metre limousine tender and an 8.5-metre sports tender. Additional tenders, water toys, and diving gear are also stored on board.
