The concept of flexibility and modularity that defines the SD96 model presented at the 2019 Cannes Yachting Festival has determined the course of the interior spaces designed by Patricia Urquiola. Taking her vision to heart, the architect and designer created the interior of the SD96 with transformation in mind, creating a vessel capable of evolving and constantly adapting to the owners' needs.
The main living area located on the main deck, characterized by oak paneled walls, is a true example of the concept of modularity; its functionality can actually be increased by installing, if necessary, a dining table for 10 people.
Moving to the upper deck, we find the Sky Lounge with fully opening windows, which, thanks to the modular furniture, can be used as a living room, dining room or movie theater. The unified interior and exterior finishes, such as the parquet floor with Biscuit pattern, create a unique ambience on the flybridge, which can also be used as a lounge or al fresco dining area thanks to the coffee table, which can be turned into a dining table if desired.
The principle of flexibility also returns to the lower deck, where the living room can be completely transformed by closing the sliding panel system, creating a VIP cabin with en-suite bathroom. Two guest cabins are also on this level, while the owner's cabin is located on the main deck. Significantly wider than on yachts of similar size, it has large windows that create a sense of unity with the surroundings.
With the launch of the SD96, Sanlorenzo once again demonstrates its ability to respond to the needs of a constantly evolving market, through careful research and innovation, while never changing its image, which has always been characterized by timeless elegance and linear simplicity.
