Description

LA DATCHA is a 77-meter luxury expedition yacht, built by Damen Yachting in 2020, engineered for global exploration and long-range autonomy. Designed with a full-displacement steel hull, a robust three-deck superstructure, Ice Class certification, and compliance with the IMO Polar Code, she is purpose-built for year-round expeditions, from polar ice fields to equatorial waters, with the ability to remain at sea for up to 40 days without resupply.

Accommodating up to 12 guests in six luxurious cabins, including two master suites, LA DATCHA offers exceptional comfort, privacy, and operational flexibility for long voyages. A highly experienced crew of 25 professionals ensures impeccable service, safety, and support for both adventurous missions and day-to-day cruising.

Guests can indulge in a wellness and spa area, complete with a Turkish hammam, ice fountain, sauna, massage room, and both indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis. A panoramic gym adds to the onboard health and fitness offering.

For underwater enthusiasts, LA DATCHA features a fully equipped dive center certified for professional diving, with a decompression chamber, nitrox and air systems, and extensive diving and snorkeling gear. A TRITON 1650/3 submarine allows guests to explore deep-sea environments beyond the limits of conventional diving.

The yacht’s impressive fleet of tenders includes an 8.5m Fassmer rescue tender, a dedicated dive RIB, a shore transfer boat, and two Zodiac MilPro expedition RIBs, along with an array of watersports equipment: jet skis, Seabobs, surfboards, windsurfs, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, electric surfboards, flyboards, and towable inflatables. Two inflatable water slides, a floating pool, and an aqua playground add extra fun for guests of all ages.

LA DATCHA also features a certified helideck, supporting aerial operations and heli-skiing excursions. For land-based exploration, she is equipped with mountain bikes, skis, splitboards, drones, and even an eco-friendly golf setup with biodegradable fish food golf balls.

Powered by twin MTU 16V 4000 M63 engines and three Scania generators (each 320 kW), she cruises comfortably at 12 knots with an average fuel consumption of approximately 500 liters per hour. Her advanced systems for monitoring, navigation, communication, and onboard safety ensure full operability in the world’s most challenging conditions.

Combining true expedition capability with luxury accommodations and cutting-edge exploration gear, LA DATCHA stands as one of the most coveted explorer yachts in the global charter fleet — a vessel for those who seek adventure without compromise.
