Description

Q is a 72-metre expedition yacht originally built to ice-class standards and fully converted into a luxury transoceanic charter superyacht during a comprehensive 2025 refit. Her steel hull and full-displacement architecture, developed by Icon Yachts in collaboration with Conoship, provide exceptional strength, long-range capability and stability across a wide range of climates. The refit added a 4-metre swim platform and introduced a completely new interior by Zuretti Design.

Q accommodates up to 12 guests in seven cabins, arranged with a mix of double and twin beds, including cabins with additional berths for flexible family or expedition-style charters. She is operated by a crew of 18, ensuring professional service and full operational capability on extended voyages.

Power comes from two Caterpillar 3516 engines, each delivering 3,500 hp. Her cruising speed is around 10 knots with an average fuel consumption of approximately 400 litres per hour, perfectly aligned with her expedition profile and long-distance cruising mission.

On board facilities include a helicopter landing pad, gym, jacuzzi and an expanded beach area with direct access to the water. The exterior decks are designed for comfortable use in both warm and cold climates, allowing the yacht to operate worldwide.

The tender fleet is exceptionally extensive and includes a 16.5-metre Viking, a Silverback landing craft, RIB tenders and a SOLAS rescue vessel. A wide selection of water toys and sports equipment is carried on board, covering diving, surfing, wakeboarding and more, along with dedicated expedition gear such as buggies, quad bikes, scooters and shore-based exploration equipment.

Q is a true expedition superyacht, combining long-range capability, rugged engineering and an advanced activity and support infrastructure with the comfort and refinement expected of a modern luxury yacht.

Bahamas
The Bahamas consists of 700 islands and coral bays in a stunning archipelago that stands out for its breathtaking reefs. The port of Nassau is known as a place that has attracted pirates for centuries. Today, it is a popular place to start or end a charter vacation. The Exumas and Abaco are prime areas for cruising. Some people prefer to charter in Elutra, but this can be tricky as not many yachts are based there. The best option is to fly into Nassau, which has a major international airport with direct flights from various regions including Europe, the mainland US and Canada.

Bahamas are called paradise islands not only due to the azure water and snow-white sand, but also due to the fact that you can go here on vacation even all year round. The strip of annual Caribbean hurricanes pass through the archipelago infrequently. High season is considered the most comfortable time to stay in the Bahamas. It lasts from November to May.

Accordingly, the low season in the Bahamas begins with the arrival of summer. At this time it becomes not only very hot, but also humid. The air temperature can reach up to +33°C. Due to the tropical climate, the air temperature here never drops below +17°C.
Panama
Panama offers a thrilling mix of natural beauty and maritime adventure, making it an exceptional destination for yacht charters. Cruise between two oceans, explore the world-famous Panama Canal, or escape to the unspoiled San Blas Islands—home to crystal-clear waters, white-sand beaches, and the indigenous Guna Yala people. With its rich biodiversity, diverse cruising grounds, and blend of cultures, Panama is perfect for those seeking both relaxation and exploration. From tropical anchorages to world-class fishing and diving, a charter in Panama promises variety, authenticity, and unforgettable scenery.
Costa Rica
Costa Rica offers breathtaking yacht charter experiences along its Pacific and Caribbean coasts. Known for lush rainforests, vibrant wildlife, and pristine beaches, it's ideal for eco-conscious travelers seeking adventure and relaxation.

Key destinations include the luxurious Papagayo Peninsula, tranquil Nicoya Peninsula, wildlife-rich Manuel Antonio National Park, and biodiverse Osa Peninsula. Enjoy water sports, cultural experiences, and nature excursions year-round, with the dry season (December-April) optimal for sunny weather.

Ensure necessary travel documents and embrace Costa Rica's commitment to ecological preservation for a memorable yacht charter adventure.
