Description

Sur La Mer is a remarkable 43.6-metre superyacht built by the renowned Italian shipyard Benetti. Winner of the 2012 ShowBoats Design Award, she continues to impress with her refined performance, meticulous maintenance, and timeless elegance.

Her interiors, designed by Molori Design, feature a sophisticated blend of oak, high-gloss wenge, and striking blue accents. A full interior refit in 2024 introduced new furniture and carpets, breathing fresh life into an already exquisite space. The main salon on the main deck is designed for socialising and entertaining, complete with a bar, fireplace, piano, and two inviting lounge areas. The upper deck salon offers a more intimate setting with a circular dining area, comfortable lounge, and a fully stocked bar.

Sur La Mer accommodates up to 12 guests in five luxurious staterooms. The full-beam master suite, located on the main deck, includes a private office with a lounge area, walk-in wardrobe, and a generous en-suite bathroom. This suite has direct access to a private foredeck terrace with its own jacuzzi and lounge area - ideal for peaceful mornings or sunset moments. Below deck, two spacious VIP suites and two twin cabins with Pullman berths provide versatile and family-friendly accommodation.

The expansive sun deck is designed for all-day relaxation and entertainment, featuring a jacuzzi, sun loungers, soft daybeds, and a large alfresco dining table.

Sur La Mer comes fully loaded with water toys and tenders, including flyboards, jet skis, waterskis, wakeboards, scuba and snorkelling gear, surfboards, and fishing equipment. She also carries two tenders, including a 38-foot Boston Whaler chase tender, ideal for exploring further afield.

Designed for long-range cruising, Sur La Mer is powered by twin Caterpillar engines and cruises comfortably at 13 knots, with a top speed of 15 knots. Her impressive 4,000-nautical-mile range at 12 knots makes her perfect for transoceanic adventures. Zero-speed stabilisers ensure a smooth and comfortable experience, both underway and at anchor.

Bahamas

Some people prefer to charter in Elutra, but this can be tricky as not many yachts are based there. The strip of annual Caribbean hurricanes pass through the archipelago infrequently. High season is considered the most comfortable time to stay in the Bahamas. It lasts from November to May.

Accordingly, the low season in the Bahamas begins with the arrival of summer. At this time it becomes not only very hot, but also humid. The air temperature can reach up to +33°C. Due to the tropical climate, the air temperature here never drops below +17°C.
