Maiora 31DP BALANDRAU was built in 2009 by the renowned Italian shipyard Maiora Yachts and underwent a comprehensive refit in 2018, which included interior upgrades and modernization of all major technical systems.

Powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M93 engines producing 2,450 hp each, BALANDRAU reaches a maximum speed of 26 knots and cruises comfortably at 23 knots. She carries 17,835 liters of fuel and 2,500 liters of fresh water, providing excellent autonomy for extended cruising. For stability and comfort both underway and at anchor, the yacht is equipped with TRAC Zero Speed stabilizers, BCS bow and stern thrusters, and a Condaria 180,000 BTU air-conditioning system.

Communication systems include Inmarsat F77 and Inmarsat C, Seatel Hellas Sat, VoIP, high-speed internet (up to 2.0 Mbps), DSC VHF and SSB radios, as well as an internal AVAYA PBX G30 and Cisco LAN/Wi-Fi network.

In the engine room, she features two Onan generators (40 kW each) and one Onan 22.5 kW generator, operating on 220V/50Hz, along with Alpha Laval fuel separators, a Hamman wastewater treatment plant, and an underwater exhaust system with bypass.

Safety equipment includes two 12-person life rafts, 32 life jackets, a Salwico fire detection system, portable extinguishers, a fast rescue tender, and EPIRB/SART satellite beacons. The galley is equipped to professional standards with Gaggenau appliances and Aluminox stainless-steel refrigeration units, built to US Public Authority and HACCP standards.
