Charter the yacht FONERS | Yacht broker - NAU Yachts

FONERS
Custom Built / 43 m / 2000
/ from €115,000 p/week + expenses
Description

Few yachts carry a legacy comparable to FONERS. Delivered in 2000 by the Spanish shipyard IZAR for Juan Carlos I, she remains one of the most historically significant yachts ever built in Spain. The project brought together an exceptional design team, including naval architect Donald L. Blount, exterior designer Tommaso Spadolini, and interior designer Celeste Dell'Anna.

Accommodation is arranged for up to 12 guests across five staterooms. The layout includes a master suite, VIP cabin, one double cabin, two twin cabins, and an additional guest cabin converted from the original study. A professional crew of six ensures attentive service while maintaining guest privacy.

Exterior decks are designed for extended time outdoors, with a central Jacuzzi forming the focal point around which lounging and dining areas are arranged. The layout allows for easy movement between sun and shade, offering flexibility throughout the day.

Her aluminium hull and shallow draft of approximately 1.5 metres make FONERS particularly well suited to cruising the Balearic Islands, providing access to secluded anchorages and shallow bays.

Despite her distinguished heritage, FONERS is fully adapted for modern charter use. A selection of water toys includes jet skis, a Seabob, water skis, SUP boards, inflatable towables, snorkeling equipment, and a Williams tender.

Timeless, versatile, and steeped in history, FONERS offers a rare opportunity to experience a yacht that combines pedigree with contemporary charter capability.

Spain is undoubtedly one of the best cruising destinations - the famous Spanish spirit, superb Mediterranean cuisine and many beautiful islands with azure waters are all part of its magic. Spain has thousands of kilometers of coastline on both mainland and islands, and boasts marinas and good infrastructure for yacht cruising.

The charter season peaks during the summer months, but fall is also a great time for sea travel. Temperatures are a little cooler but still very comfortable and the sea is still warm. Popular tourist spots are less crowded and it is easier to book a berth.

The most popular destination for yacht charter is the Balearic Islands. Here there is everything to enjoy the beaches, nightlife and cultural attractions. Getting around the islands is easy, with Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera just a short sail away from each other. Barcelona, arguably Spain's most visited city, is famous for its architecture and over the years has been a source of inspiration for world-famous artists including Salvador Dalí and Pablo Picasso. You can visit the Sagrada Familia Church and then refresh yourself at the Royal Barcelona Yacht Club or one of the city's Michelin-starred restaurants.
